AmberĀ completed a Bachelor of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering with Honours Class I in 2023. She graduated from Rangi Ruru Girls' School in 2019 as proxime accessit and the winner of the Dorothy Bates award for the student with the most outstanding potential.

Amber excelled academically at University, where she was a Liveris Academy Scholar, a ConocoPhillips Spirit Scholar, a UQ Excellence Scholar, and received the Deans Commendation for Academic Excellence. During her university studies she participated in a range of extra-curricular enrichment opportunities. This included working in a start-up in Singapore for a month as part of UQ AdVentures, and completing a short-term exchange at the University of Cambridge studying business strategy, business leadership, and responsible investing.

Amber is passionate about developing innovative solutions to global problems. Since graduating she has entered the infrastructure sector, where she hopes to integrate ESG considerations into infrastructure development.
