“The Groeneveld Scholarship has given me the chance to step outside my own research and learn from leaders across a wide range of technical and professional fields. During a PhD it's easy to tunnel-vision on your own narrow topic, so this breadth of perspective has been invaluable. I've also really valued the community at the Liveris Academy, and the chance to connect with bright undergraduates and fellow PhD students alike.”
Wendi Ma is the inaugural recipient of the Groeneveld Scholarship. Wendi is progressing a PhD in the School of EECS and part of Dr. Shekhar (Shakes) Chandra's research group.
