Hannah Kenway, Liveris Undergraduate Scholar, has recently returned from San Yet-sen University in Shenzhen, China, participating in an International Summer school. Hannah reflects on her time away.

Reading back this reflection I know it’s very disjointed. I wrote some of it slowly over months and then a lot all at once in the airport to go home. I’ve titled the sections to give it some structure.

Through the UQ Startup AdVentures Program, I was fortunate enough to be able to explore the facilities of leading tech companies in the Bay Area, including NVIDIA, Adobe, Meta, Tesla and Salesforce.

Ella travelled to Oxford University to complete a short course in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Ella travelled to London to complete a short course in scriptwriting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA).

In the 2024 Winter break, Lilly participated in a UQ Short Term Global Experience, travelling to Florence for a three-week intensive - July in Florence – at The Florence University of the Arts.
