News
- Liveris Academy scholars Matilda Grant, Arwen Keith, Saul Nicol-Rann and Anneliese Whitbread joined fellow scholars at the Australian Crisis Simulation Summit (ACSS) in Canberra, where students from across Australia tackled complex national security scenarios. Through hands-on crisis simulations, the program highlighted the importance of resilience, communication, and decision-making under uncertainty.
- The Puttick Scholarship was established to break down barriers and support future leaders in technology and engineering. For inaugural recipient Megan Barkman, that support has helped transform ambition into action through sustainability leadership and community impact.
- Over the winter break, Chloe completed a three-week exchange at Lady Margaret Hall, where she explored topics including attention, language, sleep, and consciousness through an Introduction to Cognitive Psychology course.
- As a recipient of the Liveris Academy Travel Grant, Natasha attended a summer course at Oxford University on the philosophy and ethics of artificial intelligence. Through this experience, she discovered that travelling to unfamiliar places was not only an opportunity to explore the world around her, but also a chance to better understand herself.
- As part of the New Colombo Plan Scholarship, Joshua Ryu spent six months in South Korea, embracing new challenges through language immersion, study, research, and cultural exchange. While studying neuroscience, nutrition, disease, and immunology at Korea University, they gained insight into South Korea's academic culture and built lasting connections through university societies and community groups.
