Max Foreman

Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours)
Vice-Chancellor's Scholar

Max graduated from Brisbane Boys’ College as Proxime Accessit and Valedictorian in 2020. During Max’s senior year, he was actively engaged in his position of academic prefect which tested his leadership and innovative qualities - particularly during online learning. These experiences were invaluable to Max who gained an appreciation for servant leadership. Max was recognised for his contribution to the leadership at his school as recipient of the Australian Defence Force Long Tan Youth Leadership and Teamwork award.

Within his Bachelor of Advanced Science, Max has elected to major in physics and wishes to pursue research in this domain. In particular, the physics of the small invigorates Max within quantum, energy and particle physics realms. Max is driven to converge revolutions in modern physics with the principles of sustainability to minimise inefficiencies in energy production and develop sustainable energy avenues.

Spending his childhood on the Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton, Max began at Brisbane Boys’ College as a boarding student, where in his senior year he found value in mentoring the year ten boarders as dormitory senior. During term time Max enjoyed cross country running and football, while at home on the school holidays he was an avid beach fisherman.

Max is honoured to be an inaugural Liveris Academy Vice Chancellor’s Scholar and is excited to put his best foot forward in contributing to a sustainable future.
