Vice-Chancellor's Scholar

Hannah graduated from Indooroopilly State High School (ISHS) in 2020, achieving an ATAR 99.90, topping many of her subjects and being awarded the Caltex Best All Rounder Award. She also received the Long Tan Award for leadership and teamwork.

She has had a dedication to the STEM field from a young age, participating in numerous competitions and attending the STEM Girl Power Camp as well as being involved in the ISHS Maths Acceleration program.

Sustainability has always been important to Hannah, who is constantly aiming to reduce energy consumption in order to preserve our beautiful planet. As an avid hiker and competitive rock climber, exploration and adventure is something she has always been passionate about. This passion for exploring new horizons has inspired a keen interest in space travel as well as the design and mechanics of travelling in space. She hopes to one day have the opportunity to travel into space.

In 2021 Hannah is studying a Bachelor of Engineering and Masters of Engineering with plans to specialise in Mechanical Aeronautical Engineering, supporting her ambitions of space exploration. Hannah believes that some of the greatest technological innovations have been made during space research. Space challenges us to think outside the box and discover new and unique ways to solve problems. The critical way of thinking that stems from this field will be fundamental in allowing our planet to grow and evolve in a sustainable way.

Hannah is a recipient of the UQ Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship and is delighted to have the opportunity to become one of the Liveris Academy Scholars.
