Hannah Kenway

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Masters of Mechanical Engineering
Liveris Undergraduate Scholar

For as long as Hannah can remember, she has been driven by her curiosity to expand her understanding of the world. Graduating in 2020, she received an ATAR 99.95 and was the Dux of the Gap State High School. As Community Captain, she promoted the importance of connections within her school and the wider community. This involved leading the Interact Club, which is affiliated with Rotary, and the Environmental Club. In recognition of her outstanding leadership and excellence in STEM, she was awarded the ADF 2020 Future Innovators Award.

Hannah is in her third year and is considering majoring in either biomedical or materials engineering. She says she is equally fascinated by the potential of technology and the dichotomy between simplicity and complexity in the human body.

Hannah is also a highly competitive rower and is ranked as one of the best Under 23 scullers in Queensland. Having only started 3 years ago, she is immensely proud of her progress and now has ambitions of representing Australia. In her spare time you might find her rowing, hiking up a nearby mountain, baking an elaborate creation or solving a Rubik's Cubes.

As a Liveris scholar, she feels honoured and excited to utilise every opportunity to the best of her ability.
