Hannah Kenway

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Masters of Engineering
Liveris Undergraduate Scholar

For as long as Hannah can remember, she has been driven by her curiosity to expand her understanding of the world. Graduating in 2020, she received an ATAR 99.95 and was the Dux of the Gap State High School. As Community Captain, she promoted the importance of connections within her school and the wider community. This involved leading the Interact Club, which is affiliated with Rotary, and the Environmental Club. In recognition of her outstanding leadership and excellence in STEM, she was awarded the ADF 2020 Future Innovators Award.

A pivotal and empowering experience for her was participating in the World’s Greatest Shave, where her team raised over $14,000. Throughout high school Hannah was also an avid debater and she competed in the State Finals of the Mock United Nations Evatt Competition.

In 2021, Hannah is commencing a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/ Masters of Engineering. Currently, she is considering specialising in chemical or mechanical engineering with a biomedical major. She says she is equally fascinated by the potential of technology and the dichotomy between simplicity and complexity in the human body.

In her spare time you might find her rowing, hiking up a nearby mountain, baking an elaborate creation or solving one of her many Rubik's Cubes. As a Liveris scholar, she feels honoured and excited to utilise every opportunity to the best of her ability.
