Vice-Chancellor's Scholar
Rudro began his studies in 2025, undertaking a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics. He plans to utilise his knowledge to build a strong foundation in economics and finance to drive real world impact in an increasingly competitive landscape.
Prior to commencing university, Rudro undertook the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in high school and graduated as DUX with a score of 45 (99.95 ATAR). During his high school tenure, he was an active member of the school, from contributing to the media team and playing saxophone in the jazz band, to starting a chess club and mentoring fellow students in the game. Throughout his schooling, Rudro was adorned with various awards, most notably the Order of Australia Secondary Schools Citizenship Award for outstanding service to the community.
Outside of his studies, Rudro enjoys a wide range of extracurricular activities to develop a holistic experience. Building on high school leadership experiences, Rudro is currently an executive director at the University Network for Investing and Trading (UNIT) and enjoys participating in case competitions to gain industry exposure and develop real world skills. Beyond university, Rudro enjoys playing a variety of sports, with keen interests in cricket and rugby league. He also enjoys playing chess and saxophone. In volunteering, Rudro has also contributed significantly to the Mental Health Foundation Australia and Federation of Indian Communities Queensland through helping with event organisation and performing music.
Rudro is honoured to be part of the Liveris Academy and looks forward to the opportunity to work with other scholars to lead a sustainable future.
