She led tutoring groups throughout high school and continues to tutor current high school students. She recognises a responsibility held by leaders in all professions to identify and nurture the success of junior colleagues.
Beyond life as a student and Liveris Scholar, Emma involves herself in a range of creative outlets.
She is a self-taught seamstress, who loves to design and construct timeless pieces for herself and her friends to enjoy beyond fast fashion trend cycles. She is an avid reader, particularly of historical and Gothic fiction. She is fascinated by the engineering aspects of high-performance motorsports, especially the innovative technology developed in this field that can be translated to widespread commercial applications.
Emma is excited by the opportunities that the Liveris Academy provides for an interdisciplinary university experience, particularly the commercial and leadership aspects of engineering practice. Her school experience has taught her the value of building a mutually-supporting team that applies complementary skills to a common purpose.
