Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Master of Engineering
Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholar
Claire is commencing a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Master of Engineering program at UQ in 2026. She is enthusiastic about undertaking her studies, as the engineering field blends her solution-focused attitude with her passion for mathematics. With a goal of designing and influencing structures which people interact with every day, Claire plans to create efficient solutions to generate positive change and opportunity.
Claire graduated from Loreto College Coorparoo in 2025 as College Captain and Dux, and was recognised for both academic excellence and community engagement through the AMPOL Best All-Rounder Award and the BESIX Building the Best Award.
As a college leader, Claire guided the school towards a culture of acceptance and curiosity. She led initiatives supporting a range of charitable causes, including coordinating fundraising efforts that raised over $10,000 for the Malala Fund. These experiences reinforced her belief that leadership and education are powerful tools for meaningful, ethical and sustainable impact.
Alongside her academic studies, Claire was actively involved in sporting teams, choirs, a contemporary band, and college-led volunteering opportunities. These experiences strengthened her skills in collaboration, discipline, and confidence: skills she views as essential to effective engineering practice.
Outside of her studies, Claire spends her free time playing the guitar, singing, and exercising with her friends outdoors.
Claire is honoured to join the Liveris Academy and looks forward to contributing to its vibrant community while learning from like-minded scholars and industry professionals.
