Charlotte Serisier

Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours)
Dalio Philanthropies Scholar

Charlotte is commencing a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours), and plans to pursue a career at the intersection of finance and social impact. She’s particularly drawn to understanding how economic systems and policy decisions shape people’s lives, and hopes to contribute to developing solutions that address systemic inequities.

Having started her high school journey at Brisbane State High School, Charlotte completed her senior studies at Brisbane Girls Grammar School, graduating with several academic awards, including subject Dux for both English and Literature, and a Prize for Outstanding Academic Merit. Her passion for writing and critical thinking have been a constant throughout her studies, complementing her interests in economics and social justice.

Throughout school, Charlotte was involved in a number of extracurriculars, including football, cricket, rowing and debating. Her leadership experience spans from serving as a House Prefect to holding supervisor positions at various part-time jobs, where she has learnt the importance of understanding what motivates different people.

Outside her studies, Charlotte continues to play football, is teaching herself guitar and piano, and loves a Pilates class. She works as a barista and finds her best conversations often happen over a cup of coffee.

Charlotte is honoured to be a Liveris Scholar and looks forward to learning alongside others who are equally committed to building a more sustainable and equitable future.
