Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Science
Vice-Chancellor's Scholar
Celeste is currently studying Chemical Engineering and Science (Applied Mathematics major). She has a keen interest in how we can apply data science and artificial intelligence to process engineering principles to work towards a highly innovative, technologically-driven, and resilient future.
Celeste graduated in 2023 from All Hallows' School as Dux with an ATAR of 99.95. She was a Senior A debater and Year 12 Debating Captain who consistently volunteered in environmental and social justice initiatives. During high school, she competed in various international academic competitions which took her to the United States, Hobart, and Darwin.
Celeste is highly engaged at university, involving herself in the Science Leadership program and EUS Connect society as an executive. She completed a 2025 Summer Research project focused on applying machine learning to national epidemiological survey databases. In early 2026, she interned with the MiEX program and travelled to minesites to learn about the ever-evolving resources industry. She is passionate about how essential minerals are to the renewable energy transition, and how we can improve their extraction to protect our natural environment and successfully meet sustainability goals.
Outside of university, Celeste loves books, music, and hiking or exploring new places with her friends and family. She is looking forward to immersing herself in the Liveris Academy community and all the incredible opportunities it offers.
