Henna Bardolia

Bachelors of Business Management / Laws (Honours)
Stavros Niarchos Foundation Scholarship

Henna is undertaking a Bachelor of Business Management and Laws (Honours) with the intentions to specialise in Human Resources and is hopeful of implementing her degrees within a cross-sectional industry role that allows her to utilise and enjoy both of her academic passions.

Before her time at UQ, she established clear leadership foundations through leadership roles every year of High School and took on leadership roles at her places of employment. Interestingly, Henna holds the record at both Suncorp Stadium and The Gabba as the Youngest Event Day Staff Supervisor at both venues.

Outside of University, Henna has honed her creative skills and expresses herself through music. She has taught herself guitar and has taken on her newest instrument; piano, which both accompany her songwriting and poetry, which she uses as a catharsis release outside of her busy lifestyle. Beyond this, Henna is an obsessive reader, scrapbooker and live music enthusiast, who loves supporting small artists and authors, and reading stories that push the envelope of societal norms.

She is inexplicably grateful for the opportunity she has earned to receive the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Scholarship and looks forward to immersing herself in Liveris Academy to harness and apply her passion for sustainability and leadership. Utilising the experiences available as a Liveris Academy Scholar, she intends to drive innovation and community on a national scale to combat issues that are universally faced in the dynamic and changing socio-political environment, in order to establish a more sustainable, equitable and inclusive world.
