Eleanor graduated from Brisbane State High School in 2024 with an ATAR of 99.00. She is currently studying a dual program Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts with an extended major in Philosophy and minor in Gender Studies.
Fuelled by a love of learning and the desire to better herself and her community, Eleanor achieved highly across a diverse range of subjects and extra-curricular pursuits throughout high school. She has spent much of her life dedicated to her school’s instrumental music and choral programs as a principal instrumentalist in multiple award-winning ensembles, as a music leader, and as a conductor.
She has also been both a coach and competitor in the GPS and QDU debating competitions. Eleanor has received many academic awards across her schooling career and participated in competitions, including the StudItalia Italian language prize for which she was a finalist.
Through her education Eleanor has developed a love of philosophy, history, and literary theory and a passion for women’s rights. She hopes to use her degree to contribute to research that betters our understanding of systems of oppression and to enact positive legal and social change both locally and globally.
Beyond her studies, Eleanor enjoys singing and playing saxophone with her friends, writing and reading, and developing her creative skills through knitting and sewing. Eleanor is excited to see where the Liveris Academy will take her and looks forward to contributing back to this community.
