Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship
Dimity is currently studying a dual degree of Engineering (Honours) and Biotechnology. She has a strong passion for environmental sustainability and hopes to drive change in preserving the planet in the face of the ever-growing impacts of climate change.
Dimity graduated as College DUX from Clayfield College 2024 and received various awards and recognition for her service and citizenship, including the ADF Long Tan Youth Leadership and Teamwork Award and ADF Future Innovators Award. Through her school leadership involvements as Chapel Captain in Year 12, UQ Science Ambassador in Year 11 and Lord Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council in Year 10, Dimity’s passion for leadership consolidated in 2024 as she effected positive change in her community through themes of inclusion and participation.
Dimity continuously immersed herself in diverse aspects of school life, from playing cello and being in various ensembles and choirs, to the Duke of Edinburgh Award, having completed Bronze, Silver and soon to complete her Gold Award in 2025. Her dedication to community was recognised by the Principal’s Award for Service. She is currently a volunteer with ‘Letters of Hope’ supporting community mental health.
Beyond these pursuits, classical ballet has been a centre focus of Dimity’s life, having danced since 4 years old. She is excited to nurture her continued passion, with classical ballet training alongside her academic, service and leadership goals.
Dimity feels honoured as a 2025 Liveris Scholar and is excited to connect, collaborate and contribute within the academy. She looks forward to engaging with mentors from various backgrounds and disciplines, gaining insights and inspiration towards a role in innovation and entrepreneurship in the future.
