Bachelor of Engineering/Master of Engineering
Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship
Annelise is commencing her studies at UQ, studying a Bachelor of Engineering/Master of Engineering. She recently graduated from Kenmore State High School, where she was awarded numerous subject awards and achieved the equal-highest ATAR for her school’s 2024 graduating year.
Annelise was part of Kenmore State High School’s German Immersion and Extension Program, completing most year 7-10 subjects in German through the German Immersion and Extensions Program.
This experience— including a PASCH scholarship to attend a Goethe Institute language camp in Germany— connected Annelise to different cultures, perspectives and experiences. She hopes to further cultivate these through her studies.
Annelise participated in many enriching activities in her senior year, as a member of her school's Leos and Interact chapters, and a member of the Yearbook, Senior Jersey and Events committees. She also captained the Student Representative Council, and was incredibly passionate about ensuring all students had the opportunity to provide input to the school’s leadership.
Her active involvement in the school community resulted in various awards, including the Rotary Senior Community Service Award, and the GACCQ German Achievement Award.
Annelise is incredibly passionate about introducing STEM to younger students as an interesting, viable option for further studies. She is honoured to have been awarded a place in the Liveris Academy and will endeavour to make the most of this opportunity to develop leadership and teamwork skills and broaden her perspective on global issues.
Outside of university and studying, Annelise loves bushwalking, travelling and reading.
