Natasha Miric

Bachelor of Science / Doctor of Medicine (Provisional Entry)                                                                        Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship

Natasha Miric is an inquisitive and high-achieving student who is excited to commence a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biomedical Science, with provisional entry to the Doctor of Medicine. Graduating from Brisbane Girls Grammar School in 2023, Natasha was awarded numerous accolades, including Proxime Accessit to the Dux of School, Prize for Report Writing in Biological Sciences, and Dux of Biology, Latin, and English.

In addition to achieving a 99.85 ATAR and a QCE Academic Achievement Award, Natasha was awarded a Principal’s Prize for her service contributions to her school and a Secondary Schools Citizenship Award from The Order of Australia Association. Natasha’s role as a House Service Captain and Save the Children Student Leader in her senior year saw her liaise with staff and students to organise school-wide fundraisers including White Blouse Day in support of Cherish Women’s Cancer Foundation, introduce new lunchtime initiatives into the service programme, and provided the opportunity to promote her passion for improving the lives of others. Through her leadership duties, Natasha has developed a keen understanding of the importance of adaptive co-operation, innovative ideation, and respectful decision-making, to maximise success.

Outside of school, her regular volunteering at Childhood Cancer Support and Dig-In connects Natasha with many underprivileged members of her community and has prompted greater consideration into how the needs of different stakeholders can be met with sustainable, inclusive solutions.

Natasha is honoured to be a member of the Liveris Academy and thrilled to network with a community of like-minded peers and leaders, all driven to make change for a brighter tomorrow.
