Peter commenced his studies of a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics at UQ in 2022. Throughout his time at university, he has achieved multiple Dean’s commendation awards for academic excellence and is excited to commence his final year in 2025.
Peter graduated from Brisbane Grammar School, achieving a 99.70 ATAR and receiving a QCE certificate of academic commendation for achieving an A in all of his senior subjects. Throughout high school, he received a variety of academic awards as well as being involved in several leadership and co-curricular endeavours. In his final year, he was a student leader and mentor for a cohort of younger students that were transitioning into the senior school.
Peter has continued to demonstrate his leadership abilities throughout his involvement in the UQ Business Association. As such, he was elected as Treasurer of the association in 2024. Additionally, he has participated in multiple case competitions, notably becoming a national finalist in the J.P. Morgan Global Markets Case Competition. As a result of this achievement, he secured a summer 2024/25 internship with J.P. Morgan’s Global Markets team.
Outside of the classroom Peter’s interests include playing basketball and going fishing whenever the weather is good.
As a Ravago Group Scholar, Peter is looking forward to contributing to a community of like-minded individuals within the Liveris Academy. Through the program he hopes to use his skills in leadership and divergent thinking to tackle complex global issues.
