Vivian Toh

Vice-Chancellor's Scholar
Bachelor of Science (Provisional Entry into MD)

Vivian is studying a Bachelor of Science with a provisional pathway into the Doctor of Medicine program, planning on majoring in Physics and minoring in Literature and Human Physiology.

Graduating from Brisbane State High School in 2021 with a 99.95, Vivian is grateful to have been awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship and is looking forward to commencing her studies at the University of Queensland.

She was an avid participant of several extra-curricular activities, completing the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in 2021 and performing as her school’s Symphony Orchestra concertmaster and violinist for the Queensland Youth Symphony.

Inspired by the multitude of passionate debaters within her community, Vivian also thoroughly enjoyed volunteering as a co-coach for younger debaters. She views this experience as a valuable opportunity for her to give back to a community that largely shaped her formative years.

In her spare time, Vivian is often curled over a good book, playing tennis, or spending time with her friends.

Vivian is excited to join the Liveris Academy and learn more about how young leaders can be equipped to meet global challenges — particularly within the spheres of healthcare and science — and contribute towards creating a more supportive and sustainable society for future generations.
