Appolonia is studying a Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Human Resources.

In year 10, Appolonia was accepted into the UQ Young Achievers Program, which gave her the confidence and the means to pursue higher education. She is the first in her family to graduate high school and study in university. During her senior years in high school, Appolonia found a passion for getting involved and giving back to the community, becoming a Vinnies volunteer, a student council member and the 2020 Environmental & Sustainability Prefect. 

Coming to university, Appolonia knew she wanted to do more than just study. From the start of her second semester, Appolonia has volunteered in numerous roles, becoming a mentor, ambassador, student representative, club executive, and more. 

Appolonia views challenges as opportunities, which is why she continues to get involved in a variety of roles and experiences. She believes the Liveris Academy will provide her with the environment to grow, tackle challenges, build an innovative mindset, think critically and eventually make more remarkable changes in society. 

Appolonia’s most recent position is working as an Associate with Sydney based company, AcademyGlobal, a leading provider of corporate and government training. Overall, Appolonia aims to combine her knowledge in business and education into a rewarding career.
