Sachin is studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and Masters, pursuing mechanical and biomedical engineering.
He has been motivated to achieve from a young age, having been awarded Junior Secondary Dux at Corinda State high school and later graduating from Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics & Technology in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.55. He has been involved in many extra-curricular activities across high school including social services activities clubs and the innovation-based Space Design Competition Australia where he progressed to the National Finals as part of his school team. He also has a keen interest in research and in 2020 he received Queensland prize awards for research in mathematics and science. The support and motivation from his family has been a long-standing boost for him to go forth and achieve.
Sachin has received the Stavros Niarchos Foundation scholarship and he is excited to be part of the Liveris Academy which offers a great opportunity to further build on his interests in leadership, innovation and achieving a more sustainable future.
Outside of Studies, Sachin enjoys creative writing, music and playing sport with friends which include cricket, basketball, and tennis. He has also represented his school team in tennis competitions.
