Daniel began his studies at UQ in 2025, pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with a focus on software engineering, chosen to combine his passion for technology with his desire to build impactful solutions that address real-world challenges.
Before university, Daniel started a marketing consulting business, generating over 202 million views in the last 12 months. He works with EdTech clients on organic content growth strategies, supporting companies from pre-seed to Series A stages.
During his first year at UQ, Daniel achieved a perfect GPA of 7 while balancing his academic workload with significant entrepreneurial ventures. He placed 1st in both the UQ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Society Hackathon and the UQ Computing Society Hackathon, which led him to co-found a real-time voice AI startup that reached the UQ Ventures ilab x Momenteum Pitch Night finals.
Outside of his studies, Daniel creates educational content for a combined audience of 261,000 followers across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, helping students improve their learning strategies with practical study techniques. He also runs volunteer tutoring sessions for high school students, providing free academic support as a way to give back to his community.
In the future, Daniel hopes to leverage software engineering to build impactful and sustainable solutions that democratise access to technology and education, making powerful tools more accessible.
