Richelle Nicols

Richelle Nicols is an experienced CEO and Managing Director specialising in early-stage ventures, with expertise in critical thinking, problem-solving, product-market fit, commercialisation, and preparing startups for funding under strong governance frameworks designed to optimise both success and compliance.

She has led multiple start-ups focused on deploying rapid-scale cloud technologies and big-data solutions. Her key strengths lie in developing strategies that drive commercial value and designing structures that methodically deliver on those strategies. A commercial and governance lawyer by training, Richelle previously worked with KPMG and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, providing legal and advisory services specialising in governance, compliance, and commercial matters.

Richelle is the Founder and CEO of Nicco Global and the CEO and Director of Pollinatr, an early-stage investment and venture strategy firm working with founders and investors across Australia and the USA. In this role, she bridges the founder and investor perspective - helping ventures become truly “investable” by anticipating objections, grounding conviction in proof, and establishing credible investment readiness.

Reflection on joining the Liveris Academy
I’m genuinely excited to have the opportunity to engage with such an inspiring community of scholars. It is clear that this is a place where curiosity, leadership, and critical thinking are deeply valued - qualities that form the foundation of meaningful innovation. I’m looking forward to learning alongside the scholars as we explore entrepreneurial ventures and complex problem-solving together.
