Cathy has collaborated with organisations such as Telstra Foundation, Microsoft, and various government and local partners to co-design ethical methods for integrating global data insights with local knowledge, enabling informed land stewardship decisions in a rapidly changing world. Cathy is especially passionate about enhancing digital leadership and skills for real-world impact. She supports the Digital Women Ranger Program, which creates culturally safe pathways for Indigenous women to collect, use, and share data for decision-making regarding their lands.
Cathy enjoys collaborating with diverse people to catalyse sustainability-focused innovation systems. While at the Liveris Academy, Cathy looks forward to connecting the next generation of leaders with Indigenous, corporate, philanthropic, and research experts. She is particularly keen to mentor students interested in exploring ways to build a digitally enabled, environmentally sustainable economy that promotes social justice for Indigenous and local communities.
