Penelope is currently studying a dual Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Laws (Honours),  majoring in Finance. Through this combination of disciplines, Penelope is able to broaden her career options in order to enter the business world with the legal expertise to assist companies adopt innovative and sustainable practices into their programs.

In 2019, Penelope graduated from Brisbane Girls Grammar School (BGGS), where she was elected as House Captain and a member of the Student Council. These leadership skills have translated into her university life where she serves as the Secretary for the UQ Business Association and executive member of the UQ Women’s Network. 

During her time at university thus far Penelope has been involved in a number of different experiences including industry case competitions, netball and basketball social sport teams, tutoring and coaching jobs, the UQ Community Engagement Program with YMCA Brisbane.

She also partook in the UBS Tomorrow's Talent Program and EY Game Changers Program, serving as the Regional Outreach officer for Girl Up Qld, working as a Legal research assistant in intellectual property and copyright law, working as an IBM Consulting Junior Associate, awarded the Pinnacle Women in Finance Scholarship 2022, and travelling to Sydney for a private equity internship with  Five V Capital. 

As a Liveris Scholar, Penelope greatly looks forward to collaborating with likeminded students that share her passion for global growth and change in order to strive towards a more innovative future.
