Graduating from high school as school captain, Ella has shown a key interest in leadership, human rights and storytelling. She was voted as the 'Prix d'honneur' in her senior year as a reflection of these interests. Following graduation, Ella assumed the position as the Regional Leader for Australia and New Zealand for 'Girl Up', an organisation founded by United Nations Foundation, which promotes gender equality and aims to foster leadership and advocacy skills in girls and boys in nearly 120 countries.
Ella has a passion for writing and investigation, which she pursues in her Journalism / Arts degree, majoring in international relations as a Ravago Group scholarship recipient. In 2021, Ella received the Dr. Lee Anne Perry Service and Leadership Award, which supported her in founding, 'Press Magazine', a human rights and photography based magazine.
In 2022, Ella travelled with the Liveris Academy and the New Colombo plan to Bandung, Indonesia, and in 2023 completed an internship with an Indonesian charity school the group visited, with the aim of developing a curriculum in politics and entrepreneurship. She has also interned with KBR, and Channel 9's 'Future Women' during her time with the Liveris Academy.
Within the realm of storytelling, Ella has shown a keen interest in acting during her time at university, playing 'Daniela' in the Disney movie, 'The Curious Case of Dolphin Bay', and 'Maggie' in the Matilda Award nominated play, 'Against the Wall'. She hopes to continue her passion for drama, and develop her knowledge in direction and production.
