Chelsea Nichols

Bachelor of Mathematics/Bachelor of Commerce
Liveris Undergraduate Scholar

Chelsea is studying a dual degree of a Bachelor of Mathematics and a Bachelor of Commerce. Chelsea has always had a passion for maths. She loves its universality, timelessness and certainty. She looks forward to delving further into its complexities.

Born in Brisbane, at the age of three Chelsea moved with her family to Dubai, where she completed the entirety of her schooling. Chelsea studied Mathematics, Chemistry and Geography in her final 2 years, under the British curriculum of A-Levels and achieved 3 A*s, equivalent to an ATAR of 99.95.

Chelsea’s crowning achievements from a leadership perspective were to be appointed Head Girl (School Captain), as well as being selected as captain of her school rugby team, both in Year 13. Through her experience in these roles, Chelsea had the opportunity to realise and develop her consensus style of leadership and is looking forward to developing this further as part of the Liveris Academy.

Growing up in Dubai, Chelsea has had the benefit of a wonderful education in a remarkably multicultural environment. She has traveled extensively and observed the rapid development of Dubai and the UAE, and as a result, Chelsea has gained an early appreciation and understanding of the world and its diversity.

Chelsea is honoured to be chosen as a 2023 Liveris Scholar, and is looking forward to learning, growing and prospering within the influential academy. She is excited to work and learn alongside inspirational mentors from varying backgrounds and fields.
