Q: Which Liveris Academy Scholarships are accepting applications for 2027?
A: In 2027 the following scholarships will be open to receiving applications:
Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship
Dalio Philanthropies Scholarship
Stavros Niarchos Foundation Scholarship
Saudi Aramco Excellence Scholarship in Engineering, Science and Maths
Puttick Scholarship for Women in IT and Engineering
Q: How do I know if I am eligible to apply to join the academy as part of the Affilate Program in 2027?
A: To be eligible to apply for this opportunity you must:
- be studying an undergraduate degree
- have an interest in sustainability, digital transformation and innovation
- have completed no less than two semesters towards your current program of study
- not be entering the final year of your current program
In addition, students applying to enter the program must also:
- currently hold, or be part of, one of the following scholarships, programs or schemes:
OR
- identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.

Q: I am interested in applying for more than one of the Liveris Scholarships, do I need to submit multiple applications?
A: No, you just need to prepare one application. As you complete the application form, you will have the opportunity to select each of the scholarships you are interested in. Our team will further check your eligibility, and consider you against each scholarship you are eligible for.
Q: I am a current UQ student, applying for a scholarship. Do I need to submit an official UQ academic transcript with my application?
A: No, you just need to log in to SI-net and download a Studies Report - this report is completely suitable to demonstrate your academic achievement.
Q: If I am successful at being granted a scholarship but decide to take a gap year, can I defer the scholarship?
A: If you decide to take a gap year, and this interruption or deferral is approved by your Faculty, you will need to seek approval from the academy Director to defer your scholarship.
It is possible for the Director to approve an interruption or deferral for a maximum cumulative period of one year.
Q: When I record my ATAR is it my raw score or can I use my 'adjusted score'?
A: For scholarship applications from students commencing at UQ we are required to use raw ATAR scores only.
Q: How do I get a valid cumulative GPA calculation?
A: There are some great instructions for how to calculate your GPA on the UQ website. Just click on this link - Final grades - my.UQ - University of Queensland – and select 3. ‘How to calculate your GPA’.
Q: I have applied for a scholarship in a previous year and was not successful. Can I apply again?
A: Yes, you are welcome to reapply for our scholarships.
Q: Can I apply for a Liveris scholarship and an UQ Excellence scholarship?
A: Recipients of the UQ Excellence Scholarship (A288) are eligible to apply for Liveris Academy Scholarhips and, if successful, hold both.
Q: Can I review my application and make some adjustments?
A: Once you have submitted your application, you won't be able to amend it. However, if you have additional information you would like to include, you can submit another application and the Liveris Academy team will assess only the most recent submission.
