Caitlin Dorrough

Bachelor of Economics
Associate Program

Caitlin is currently in her second year of a Bachelor of Economics at UQ, majoring in Strategy and Behaviour and minoring in Environment and Natural Resources.

In 2019, Caitlin received the Domestic Student in Economics Full Scholarship from UQ upon graduation from All Saints Anglican School. During school, Caitlin was involved in a multitude of leadership, sport and service endeavours, with House Captain and Duke of Edinburgh Gold level award being major highlights. In her final year school Caitlin was also fortunate enough to attend a research expedition to Ecuador, assisting researchers in their vital work on human impacts on biodiversity in the Amazon rainforest and Galapagos Islands. This trip was a major turning point for Caitlin as it showed her first hand the importance the natural world to people and economies and is the inspiration behind her goal of utilising economics to enable businesses and world leaders alike to become more sustainable in their practices and policies.
