Bachelor of Engineering/Masters of Engineering
Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholar
Finnian graduated from Brisbane Grammar School in 2025 with an ATAR of 99.30, and is commencing study in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Masters of Engineering program in 2026.
Finnian has had a passion for Physics and Mathematics from a young age, and received a Subject Commendation Award for attaining a perfect score in Physics in his graduating year. He hopes to build on these passions by specialising in Electrical Engineering, and apply them to the development of AI and its sustainable and long term integration into our lives.
Throughout his time at high school, Finnian involved himself in a broad array of leadership and co-curricular opportunities. In his final year, Finnian took a role as a Year 5 form senior, learning the importance of community and respect, while further improving his leadership skills. On top of this, he volunteered his time mentoring younger students through their learning.
In his free time, Finnian was a member of his school's opens cross country team, as well as participating in the football, rugby, and sailing programs. These involvements taught him the importance of commitment and teamwork, and have shaped how he approaches group challenges.
As a Liveris Academy member, Finnian hopes to further hone his leadership and critical thinking skills, and pursue his passions with like-minded people to enact the change he wishes to see in the world.
