Chun Tsung Lee

Chun Lee is studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and plans to complete his Doctor of Medicine at UQ. Using this undergraduate degree to best prepare himself for postgraduate study. 

Chun graduated from Anglican Church Grammar School in 2022 and left the school as a proxime accessit. He owes this achievement to his strong work ethic and time management skills. Furthermore, he balanced this academic achievement with leadership roles in Year 12 and strong co-curricular involvement in chess. Chun achieved a 99.95 Atar and subsequently awarded with a Vice-chancellors scholarship and recognized as a Distinguished Academic Achiever. 

As a way of giving back to the community, Chun is an active member of the UQ Premedical Society. There he has contributed to the planning and running of events dedicated to improving the university experience for like-minded students. In addition, he has completed the UQ Summer Research Program, focusing on investigating biomarkers in Parkinsons Disease. He also has a role as a chess coach and enjoys spending his time teaching others. 

In his spare time, Chun enjoys playing social badminton and going to the gym. He is often seen reading and has a strong interest in playing the piano and violin.
 
Chun aims to further develop his communication and leadership skills through the Liveris Academy with further goals to help create a sustainable future. Chun has a particular focus on improving rural healthcare in Australia and encouraging other students to do the same.
